The Isle of Lewis Chessmen

The Isle of Lewis Chessmen were discovered in 1831 in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. They constitute some of the few complete, surviving medieval chess sets.
The chessmen are owned and exhibited by the British Museum in London, which has 82 original pieces, and the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, which has 11 original pieces.
The Chess Board included in this set makes an incredible centrepiece in any office or living area.
